ABOUT US

The Tab Operatic Society was affiliated to NODA Ltd. in 1947 and was part of the Tabernacle Church in Highgate Street Old Hill. The first major production was "Zurika" followed by numerous successful productions, unfortunately due to financial difficulties within the Methodist circuit it was decided that the Tabernacle should close and was to be demolished and the land sold for housing. "The Student Prince" in 1983 was the last production there.

In 1984 "The tab" was reborn the name shortened from Tabernacle, our new venue was to be Brierley Hill Civic Hall and our first production there was "The Dancing Years" and we have remained there up until the 2016 production of Grease. In 2017  the society Moved to our new venue at Stourbridge Town Hall, almost all of the seating there is tiered so the views are un restricted.
